I laughed a little too hard at this. Yes, I manually reference 😬

My family’s version was the same. Wiltshire was not especially known for its maritime industries. A few canals maybe… I’ve adapted to local ears.

That is super posh! Gosh it’s a step up from drinking it straight from the carton in the Woolies carpark (which is my Friday delicacy).

I admire the thrown together aesthetic. And I have a perfect sparkling Riesling + Kerner that would have been perfect here (& I don’t usually drink sparkling). Looks yum.

Hot - but possibly unpopular - take is that #thesurvivors is the best of all the recent Tasmanian-based dramas. Unlike many of the others, Tasmania is the backdrop to the story, not a character (usually badly drawn) in the story. #tasmania #netflix

Oh the stationary! It’s much the same in every school right now; the ink is still wet on our last restructure.

Funny how almost all those VCs have made big cuts to their universities.

And yet I suspect that all will hold firm on their commitment that the fees hike has no impact on Higher Education access. Funny that!

If you can remember a few years back when Shia LaBeouf publicly apologised for plagiarising Daniel Clowes with an apology that was plagiarised from an online guide to writing a sincere apology… then we can see how we got here. Horrid.

Totally! And I hope next month brings meaningful opposition to those forces that exacerbate rather than reduce. I’m not all that optimistic on that, though new coalitions may at least make some headway.

Yes. Add to that anything before 1996 and after 1998. Although I may be revealing how old I am.

Isn’t it just. Terrific work

Which of course leads me to think twice about where my next work ends up. Thankfully, the University Press pubs (which I think is my best stuff) doesn’t appear there … yet.

Thank you for your understanding. Between partners anxiety, kiddos attention, and my general grumpy old manness I tend to rush through there like white bread on, well, my grumpy tummy.

I’m sorry I didn’t stop to chat, but if I’m in there for more than 4 minutes I break out in hives. A rare trip for me. I hope you found your way out.
