"You need to stop doing that shit"
This specific individual may not have voted for Trump, but in a state that went 70% for him, there are undoubtedly thousands of diabetics who did.
Attacking them individually? Poor taste.
As a group? 100% fair game.

Companies that deliver value to customers because they want to deliver value to customers will tend to beat companies that deliver value to customers because they want to eventually yank that value away and give it to shareholders.
It's a "Farmer's Market Vendor vs. Crack Dealer" paradigm.

Well, it's been announced (as the "16e", and the new model looks like a dud at the price point Apple's chosen.
Now I'm sorry I suggested you wait. ๐

I try, but single-spacing always looks weird when I do it, and fine when everyone else does.

"The Republicans weren't effective, though."
Tommy Tuberville begs to differ.
"He eventually gave in."
Yes, but he made the Democrat majority look pathetic and ineffectual for months.
Perception matters.

That's not my point.
How can the GOP manage to be moderately effective in the face of an opposing trifecta, and Democrats cannot?
True, none of this is going through the legislature, but few Democrats are bothering to respond to any of Trump's overreach with anything beyond tepid criticism.

I'm not one to crap on the Democratic Party, but I'm greatly disappointed that they seem to be MUCH less effective in the face of a Republican trifecta than Republicans are in the face of a Democrat trifecta.

Recently saw Trump compared to a blank screen upon which his supporters project their own prejudices... and have yet to see a better explanation for his support.
They will see the light when the leopard inevitably comes to eat THEIR face.

The next step: getting rid of all "...re" spellings.
No one on either side of the pond pronounces theatre "theet-reeeeeeeeee", after all.

There's a wide body of sci-fi (Snow Crash, Ready Player One, etc) where the protagonist is a nobody in the real world, but rock star / god in The One Virtual World That Everyone Uses.
I suspect that's the secret dream of many of these people โ achieving the adoration they feel denied in real life.

Republicans seem to be VASTLY more effective in the face of a Democrat trifecta than Democrats are in the face of a Republican trifecta.

If you can wait until Wednesday, Apple is expected to announce the SE4 then. You'll be able to make an informed choice.
Dates: www.forbes.com/sites/davidp...
Rumored specs: www.macrumors.com/guide/iphone...

Can you wait until the SE4 is released?
Specs haven't been formally announced yet (I think?) but some of the details that have leaked seem quite impressive.

Double bonus block if you complain about him not talking about something he literally discussed in his previous post.

This exactly the sort of article that the shitweasels of NYT management would have done their utmost to block.

The Doritos/flying saucer one was good.
It didn't try to be "iconic", it just tried to be silly... and it worked.

This exchange is trash.
Read between the lines of "Mark's" reply, and it comes down to "I don't want non-Whites in well-paying positions".
Fuck these people.
