Watching the men's NCAA March Madness on CBS has reminded me what a treasure Bill Raftery is. He is super entertaining/funny and has plenty of basketball wisdom.

The two hour phone conversation, allegedly to discuss an end to a war, consisted only of a private lesson in how to be a dictator. One participant is a master of the art, the other just a dying mouse that the cat mercilessly plays with.

I can't locate any friends I had on FB, IG, etc., now that I have deleted those platforms in favor of this one. Are any of you out there? If so, please find me!

📌On the debate stage in 2016: TRUMP: “Putin said nice things about me. He has no respect for her ... and I’ll tell you what, we’re in very serious trouble.” HILLARY CLINTON: ”Well that's because he'd rather have a puppet as president of the United States.” FACT CHECK: She was 100% correct.

The Administration is gutting all the programs to use that money to replace gaping holes in the budget caused by their massive tax breaks for billionaires and big corporations. Defund Medicare, Soc. Security and Education so the rich can get richer. It's YOUR money. Is this what Trumpers voted for?

Fueled by the caustic cocktail of one part ignorance and one part fear, the majority of American voters asked for what we are now witnessing. Dismantling vital government agencies will only make those same voters thirst for even more cocktails. It's just plain stupid and tragic.

Threatening to cut off aid to our allies if they don't do exactly what we want them to do will only cause them to turn to China or Russia, who are both ready and eager to step in and become their new allies. Our influence in the world will gradually decrease. It is an idea born of idiots.
