Never underestimate the human capacity for stupidity. Please don’t give money to your enemies. And for the love of god don’t support Nazis.

Yes. Most Americans are buying this shit because most Americans only hear about CA’s problems, which are generally portrayed as the effects of an obtrusive state government. And when I tell our critics from other states that CA has the world’s 4th largest economy, I am met with blank stares.

It helped me to remember MLK Jr. and the Civil Rights protests. Not escalating the violence worked to illustrate the violence of the racists, rather than of the protesters. It would serve the same purpose today.

I get your point. And for a brief, shining moment, I thought the same as you. But I think Mr. Nichols is right on this. Trump is trying to escalate the confrontation. And escalation will work to his advantage because it will justify more punitive measures. 1/2

I’ve always avoided TikTok because of . . . reasons. Thanks for the insight. Looks like I might have to sign up for the breaking news.

True. Our “culture of ignorance” is at the root of our issues.(Please don’t get me started!) I’m not sure how to get around the echo chambers of social media. Most likely, the only answer is the pain created for those people following bad actors. Not. Good.

National Media didn’t do us any favors either. In fact, I’d argue that the media bears a large amount of responsibility for our current government.

“With Musk’s departure, any hope of a disciplined approach to the US government and budget goes as well.” I’m not reading this shit. And Financial Times should never have printed this drivel. Gtfo

I’m old enough to remember when NYT ran a profile about the nice Nazi next door in 2017. At least they regret offending their readers.🙄 www.politico.com/story/2017/1...

If only the NYT weren’t so mealy mouthed about Nazis and their support for Trump, maybe we wouldn’t have the rampant antisemitism we’re witnessing today. www.nytimes.com/2017/11/25/u...

As a Californian, I resent Bradshaw insisting Rodgers stay here. Let him go to Idaho or Wyoming, or Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, or Alaska, or Russia, or Tajikistan, Iran, Iraq, Libya, China, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Somalia, Yemen . . .

Why is anyone still reading the NYT? Put them out of business, and let a company that cares about “actual news” replace it.

The very definition of “high on his own supply.”

Right? Lord knows I can be disgruntled. But I can’t be gruntled.
