What is the status of jest? Is the project abandoned? The last release is from over an year ago and the latest commits are dependency updates and adding punctuation to error messages. A few tools are as fundamental to the JavaScript ecosystem as jest is.

Still can’t believe what happened to twitter actually happened. It was bought out, with the promise of making it the global town square but at the end, it was a tool for a billionaire to advocate for a presidential candidate and spread misinformation from an account with the handle @ america.
