People spend a lot of time wondering why the left is worse at using independent media to control the national narrative. A useful exercise is to ask why the left is also worse at selling snake oil and pyramid schemes, because I think the reasons are basically exactly the same.

Step 1. Use our dollars to force the media to become the 4th estate again. Step 2. Make the Dems be actually liberal. Remove the Schumer/Pelosi dems. Step 3. Flip both houses of congress next year.

I'm all for the Hands Off protests. I hate Trump and everything he is. But these protests mean nothing unless change actually comes with them and I remain skeptical they will. Protests have worked in the past because the people in charge cared enough to be worried. That's very different than now.
