We need unity and understanding that while these folks are absolutely responsible and accountable for any harmful actions they carry out, blaming them for trusting a gov that has gone out of its way to trick them... Feels like misplaced blame to me. We are all being oppressed by the same gov.

I am often disliked by fellow progressives for saying this, but MAGA voters often live in areas with schools that have been de-funded for decades, often where everyone watches Fox, and now have a federal govt backing up lies. It is the fault of the fed for actively misleading their citizens.
