I volunteered at a STEM event at the Udvar-Hazy Center, and once our display was set up, I was able to explore the exhibits for two hours before the museum was opened to the public.

When I worked on a crew boat in the Gulf of Mexico, we had trouble with dishes sliding off the galley table. One of the crew glued rings of gasket material to the plate bottoms to prevent sliding. On the next rough night, the plates didn't move, but the pasta slid off the plates onto the floor.
