First I thought it must be the U23 world champ or smtn..

They’re everywhere, but the Barcelona version is by far the worst of all I’ve ever bumped into.

Longo Borghini in decisive momrnts always goes for the dirty option. She could be relegated for these final meters.

Pidcock started his acceleration a little late, from too far back. He could have come 2nd too.

…and the Albanians liked the idea. That’s how things go nowadays.

Couldn’t be more pathetic. Sooner or later the uci will probably start sanctioning caught solo break aways too.

No, I thought it’s about Van Aert. Read my tweet in that context and you’ll be happy.

Whatever. For such a talent, at this age, being in the 24th hour, it’d really be time to get himself together, and start winning. No crashes, illness, punctures. Nobody cares about these. He should - and could - win a P-R and a Ronde. That would be a must for such a rider - with ‘infinity contract’.

Not entirely sure what you mean..

You can never judge such a race from a sofa. I’m sure that those in the saddle tried everything yesterday. Same for Pedersen - who after the puncture couldn’t close the gap at all. The gap was growing so all he’d have done was to stay in the wheel and win a sprint. But this is not how the P-R works.

Ace ride. All I missed is that he couldn’t close the gap at all after the puncture. The gap was even growing a little. That’s an important point here.

He should win the MSR first, which is rather his race. I think if 100% healthy, this year vdP would have beaten him at the RVV too.

Great ride indeed, but he finished 1 minute down, and it wasn’t because of his bad luck only. Almost everybody else had that too. He arrived to the velodrome with empty tank. In a group sprint he would have still been off the podium.

The rider with many layers..

Tactically was a classic disaster, but those many crashes he had didn’t help either, so the racing wasn’t that bad actually. He just still isn’t in top form and people shouldn’t forget that Powless is simply an ACE rider with a great sprint, who on a good day and a matching profile can beat anybody.

By now he seems to be a real intelligent gentleman actually.

His voters should pay it twice.

“Cowboy”?! Powless?! WTF?!

Did you notice that Powless looks a bit like Rik Van Looy?

He should finally start working as a ‘géomètre’, what his original qualification is.
comment in response to

So we won’t have to miss our great géomètre in the future either.. Now that he doesn’t need the african votes, will quickly come up with a ‘plan B’ he didn’t have so far for the world chamionships.

In some cases “adulthood” itself can also be regarded as a severe side effect. This case is called ‘trumpitis’.

Dorsey loves money so let’s hope he won’t sell it to an utter nazi again.

Sounds great, and probably the Spanish races also didn’t hit the jackpot I guess. The time may come when the TdF will be the only race again.

Maybe British eurosport was one of his horcruxes.

Terrible amount. When it comes to the fees, I always think about 1.1 Italian races first.. maybe the most vulnerable of all.

Anything but a proper job. Monsieur le ‘géomètre’ doesn’t really feel like working.

Colnago is F* late with this already overhyped and - and fairly odd - #bike. They simply couldn’t deliver it so that’s why nobody saw Pogacar riding it even for a short while, at some stupid event or smtng, although they should have been gradually getting used to it since about December. Ridiculous.

It's said that he doesn't say hello to anyone, not even fellow pros, when they salute meeting him during a training ride. Not nice.
