Gotta take my son in for a sedated ABR (to test his hearing since he can't respond to a hearing test like a neurotypical kid his age) in just a bit here. He's been sedated a couple times now, but it still freaks me out. Bringing my Switch to try to chill out while he's under.

1) If you have had Covid you are at risk. 2) THEY AREN’T FUCKING “BOOSTERS” THEY ARE NEW SHOTS. THE VIRUS MUTATES. 3) They are able to do this because the uptake is already so low. This is not the end game, it’s an opening gambit.

My son is severely immuno-compromised and has frequent lung infections (due to his condition: MECP2 Duplication Syndrome) so hopefully we can make the case for him to get the vaccine. Most people being unable to get vaccinated means there WILL be more cases - Covid might mutate into something worse.

Art school discourse: I went to SCAD and got a degree in Sequential Art and minored in Storyboarding. It definitely helped hone my skills and the teachers were terrific, but the connections with peers were the most important thing. No art gig I’ve ever gotten has cared about my degree.
