They were trolling us anyway. The Presidio has been self-sustaining since 2005. What a joke! www.cbsnews.com/sanfrancisco...

I think he’s staying mum for now so that Satan doesn’t cut off our FEMA assistance. Antagonizing it now would be the wrong move. There will be time.

The Presidio is a national park and a national treasure. They’re all precious!

I want out of this regime. Speaking as a Californian, I want a divorce. No more taxes for this hateful regime.

Keep Public Lands in Public Hands!!

Right! Let’s be more like Turkey in the next major earthquake! I’m sure he’s planning to get the contracts to rebuild once it’s all been pancaked.

I’m onto the next thing, and that thing is researching all the ways my home state of California can leave this wreckage behind and become an autonomous state. I just hope I can take my eventual Medicare and social security benefits with me and that the other states can save their national parks.

Go the fuck home! I can’t believe Steve Bannon and I actually agree on something.

Every little fascist in this country has crawled out from under a rock to get a paycheck with Trump, Inc. But WE are the ones footing the bill with our taxes! 🤯

It’s both. George Lucas’ film studio is there. I used to work there. It’s public land. Were it to be privatized it would be the most valuable real estate in the country (I am a local Realtor). Over our dead bodies will they seize our public land!

Musk uses his platform, X, to make death threats against his enemies. Now he’s activated the January 6th released criminals to do his bidding too.

He also made death threats towards Kamala Harris during her campaign.

They can go fuck right off!! Hands off our Presidio!! The broligarchs must love it because it’s the most valuable land in the country, adjacent to billionaire’s row. They can expect war if they try anything!! Not kidding.

Not going to happen. It’s the most valuable land in the country, adjacent to billionaire’s row. Over our dead bodies will they mess with our Presidio. They can fuck right off!!

He’s getting back at Nancy Pelosi. This is her baby! Anyway, over my dead body!!

BTW, our population is pretty much equivalent to Canada’s at nearly 40M, and we’ve got the 5th largest economy in the world. We sure would love your socialized medicine though!

“The Supreme Court's ruling in Texas v. White (1869) made clear that unilateral secession by a state is unconstitutional.” There’s more but character count limits me.

Not sedition, but the Civil War settled the case, until now anyway. Here’s what I got from ChatGpt: “Under current legal interpretations, it would take an act of Congress, along with approval from the states, to allow secession.”

I’d love it, but please don’t call us Cali. That sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard to us natives. Thank you! 🙏🏼

Aren’t they hard at work making sure we’ll never vote again? What does public opinion matter if they cancel our votes? This is a serious question.

I want to believe in divine retribution. It sure is taking a long time. There may be nothing left of this country by the time it comes.

If the Constitution matters anymore, and I’m not sure it does, it is unconstitutional to secede from the Union. We fought a Civil War over it. However, there are ways we could become more autonomous. I would start by not sending taxes to the federal government.
comment in response to post
Agreed. The blue state governors need to lead the charge. Gavin Newsom, I’m looking at you.
comment in response to post
This is the right approach. The blue states need to be autonomous.
comment in response to post
Governor Walz, I think the time has come for the blue states that are business powerhouses like mine (California) and yours (MN) to gain autonomy from what is now a Putin-allied criminal enterprise, formerly known as the United States of America.
comment in response to post
Agreed.
comment in response to post
We in California need to gain our autonomy. The United States is a criminal regime under Trump/Musk. Exactly why are we paying taxes to this malignant enterprise?
comment in response to post
I’m in California. We need to gain our autonomy. Enough.

I’m taking the Coast Starlight until further notice.

I can’t see getting on a plane at this point while we have no government protections. Flying is horrible for the environment anyway. Trump has left us utterly exposed and in danger. Don’t get me started about firing those FBI agents.

It’s terrible anthem anyway.

I’m glad that Curb Your Enthusiasm went off the air before all of this business. I wouldn’t have been able to watch it. 😡

4 trillion is not coincidentally the amount of the billionaire tax cut that these oligarchs are all about.
