I still can’t believe I bought such a bad IONIQ5. Poor design features, unreliability, parts unavailability, zero dealer and manufacturer support led me to sell at a huge loss after just 11 months.

Only had 3p for the first 6 months of generation.
Someone is making money, Ripple, the operators, builders, energy companies. Doesn’t leave much for the investors.
Rooftop solar is best if you can have it.

Not free energy. You get a return on your generation. Currently 6p kWh generated.
Good for your carbon footprint, not so good for your bank balance.
Very long term investment. May break even in 20 years.

It’s really special when visitors connect with a property. Biddulph Grange with its hospital history does this really well. You could just tell this had sparked a lovely childhood memory for her.
