it's deliberate and thoughtful construction. Not just it's narrative, but the way the characters are introduced, how you see each arc unfold. Even the music. When you have 2 separate themes that fold perfectly together into one. It's magic! (p.s. the theatrical version is the superior one)

It's the Dark Crystal, but that's not a shot from the movie. It's a promo image that was also released as a poster. (It's also one of my favorite movies of all time and the first movie I ever saw in the theater more than once)
