Seems like it’s everywhere, was on the VFTL pods too. Glad y’all are doing what you can

Rebuild timeline: infinite. 😕 Would have loved to see Ange get a shot at S3. Hopefully whoever else comes in can move us forward.

He’s gonna go. And frankly, Sonny may go too.

Good for Ange. He gets to walk out of here a hero that was able to accomplish something incredibly rare at the club. No one will remember or care about 17th. Everyone will remember Champions in Europe. As soon as things go bad for the next guy, it’s gonna turn extremely ugly with the fans.

Interesting advertising at least for the US audience. Some sort of pro Trump ad asking people to write in and urge congress to stop “frivolous” foreign investor lawsuits. Guessing it’s not something y’all support or are aware of.

Just join whichever club Ange leads

Same, though everyone in the last 17 years is in the same boat as us. What a fucking day. Mate

Cheers! Son’s crying! 🏆🏆🏆

Feel like it’s not that tough and it’s very clearly Kulusevski. Dekkie was the entire team for about 2/3 of the season until his injury.

Agree. Success I referred to was overcoming a difficult opponent and environment to move on. Heading in to that game, few believed it possible…made it that much better when it happened. Now finish the job. 3 to go!

3 wins left to get

That’s just sports my man. At the end of the season, only one squad wins a title. Everyone else is left wanting.

Depends which team you’re a fan of. In a year like this, when so much has been bad, success feels that much sweeter.

This is how it’s done.

Didn’t hate waiting later to take off Madders. Would have liked seeing Tel and Odobert on at the hour mark. Generally would rather see Spence in there more than he was, but was ok with the fullbacks overall.

Sitting by far our best goalscoring threat (Johnson) is a bold move.

Odobert and honestly Richarlison were huge misses. Richie could have severely lightened the load on everyone across the front 3.

I’m actually going to rewatch this one!

There’s definitely a short term vs long term viability argument that can be made.

It’s been a really tough season. Finally have most of the guys back (hopefully for good). Still a chance we can kick on and finish strong. I’m really trying to stay positive. Hasn’t been easy.

Strangest club on the planet and we are all insane for following it. COYS

Have we hit rock bottom and bounced back? Vibes train feels like it’s back on the tracks again.

We actually did it, lads. We won a game!

This is exactly what I needed and wanted to hear.

I’m taking any win we can get and running with it.

Was always going to be tough playing 2x a week on a thin roster. But we got worst case scenario with the injuries. Hopefully some help before the window shuts. Fingers crossed the board shows courage and backs the manager. We’re only like 1/2 way through the squad rebuild.

I’m the same. And it might be in part because my NFL team just did the same thing and retained their HC because he is a very good coach (Browns). But IMO this season is a write off with all the injuries. Next season has to be a prove it season.
comment in response to post
I’m a huge “stay patient and trust the process” guy but this feels dramatically bad. Injuries killed the season, but it’s gotta be better than this. Hard to see how Ange survives even though I really want him to.

Honestly, amazing how much our buildup frees up when the GK is comfortable with his feet.
comment in response to post
Both he and Archie were great. The young bucks are really finding their form.

Lots of good stuff just scrolling through the comments. I’ll add: Japanese Breakfast Mitski Father John Misty Black Pumas Leon Bridges

At this point, Werner isn’t much of a step down from Sonny…and that should speak volumes about the form Son is in.

I don’t think xfer funds are an issue anymore. Not like in the recent past where there was no money and they needed to sell to have funds to buy. Homegrown quotas are an issue right now but those should resolve soon with the youth getting minutes in the team this season.
comment in response to post
Don’t think 3 is really doable in Jan. Not of the quality we need. Maybe 1-2. But need another 3 starting quality again in the summer as well. 4-5 starting quality players should get us just about where we need to be to play 2x a week all season.

Replaced our best player in a generation, club captain for ~10yrs, and a squad half filled with deadwood on bad contracts. All while adjusting to a style opposite from how the team had been built for the last 5yrs. Resetting 18mo in due to bad form means longer rebuild Shortsighted and foolish.

And not necessarily saying either opinion is wrong, just kinda funny how you two flipped sides this season so far.
comment in response to post
Your stances have flipped. You: usually positive, preaching long term plan, backing Ange, and playing the youth Bardi: about results now and historically had a single player to beat up (hojbjerg). We are now in a bizarro world where you rip Radu & current form while Bardi urges patience.
