I would stop buying from those companies; but I already stopped.

Someone highlighted that they should all write to confirm that they upheld the Constitution, and defended the USA against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I think that is a suitable response. 😆😆😆

Every single employee should just write back and say that they fulfilled their oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

So many of these individuals work on the premise "Do as I say, not as I do". We need to change the rules, agree definitions of misbehaviour, set appropriate penalties; and then enforce those without fear or favour.

And in this context, "skilled" does not necessarily mean "academically qualified". In this case, the skills are the ability to develop empathy in order to work with individuals and understand their needs.

Ed's campaign is important, and his suggestions spot on. But unfortunately at the moment, caring is still seen as an unskilled job, when it should be treated as a skilled profession.

There was one day when I had completed a sleep in shift over night. In the morning, there were just 3 staff including me (and I should have gone home at 8.00), when there should have been at least 8 staff, and more correctly, 10. This is not unusual. But it is unacceptable.

I did a short period of part time work in a care home for vulnerable adults. At first, the care was first class. But after the business had been taken over, they lost most of their regular staff, and relied heavily on agency staff. The business had systems, but agency didn't know these.

They can 'pledge' all they like. The reality is that their customer service is not good, and you pay through the nose for it. I left British Gas a long time ago due to their poor service. Not sure that I would ever give them another opportunity to rip me off.

Honestly, I don't tune in when he's on. I would rather listen to 3 hours of the shipping forecast.

For that to happen, they would have to have à brain first ...

These people were unsuitable to be candidates, let alone elected representatives. We have to find better people to be selected.

That portrait is definitely an old fogey called Nick Ferrari 😅😅😅

Had to take 2 of the grandchildren (age 4 & 1) to the Big Park earlier. Still knackered. Love them to bits, but they are so much hard work.

Not just male. Male, pale, & stale.

I was offered an upgrade for £20. Snapped it up. The free drinks were OK, and the extra space. But not worth the additional £900 that it should have been.

Just a shame that she won't stop her repulsive rhetoric.

There have been several former hard-line Brexiters saying this. Quite a change from when they were using the principle of a European Army as a threat to encourage people to vote to leave the EU.

Actually not surprised by this. I've seen it from both sides. Signed on because I wanted to get my NI credits, knew I wouldn't get UC. After 3 months, they wanted me to attend an IT training course; got snarky when I refused. I have a MSc in Computing.

It would also be possible to put solar panels over car parks. Keeps the cars cool, generates electricity, maybe even charge up the EVs.

I would not trust Tice to tell me the correct time of day.

That doesn't really make a difference. The more airtime Reform gets, the more their support will grow. Even if they're obviously gibbering idiots, and being called out on their falsehoods, the exposure ensures they get support. Same tactic as Trump.

Sadly, not the only council in this situation. And I'm sure that it will get worse.

I snorted. It's easy to make mistakes, but sometimes, it's more than frustrating to read it.
