As a teenager, I ran the sound at a small church where Mike Huckabee came to speak one Sunday night while Arkansas governor. Our sound system was ancient, and it chose that night to finally die, in actual flames. The State Trooper who was posted in the booth suggested evacuation but was rebuffed.
