Kindness is part of my religion, and you can feel free to hold me accountable when I fall short. Weirdest career arc of anyone you know. Currently clean on OPSEC.

"This center left protest with kids and dogs is not the Third World Maoist struggle session I expected."

Everyone wanted photos of my sign but offered to hide my face. No no, you misunderstand. I want to make it to a news website to embarrass my parents.

My folks had one of those 5-CD changers that I inherited and spend a ton of time with as a child. What was yours loaded with?

This was a great video, and it's going to become more and more topical in the next 3-5 years as folks switch to electric. We've decided that our 2022 luxury whip is going to hold us until the house is paid off in 8-ish years, by which time we'll be ready for the new electric hotness.

I don't know what kind of parade he expected after saying the gays aren't welcome

Voice of the Martyrs is the only one of those I recognize as someone who was an evangelical until 2016 or so. They seemed pretty tame, but who knows how that's morphed, it's been a weird decade.

Churu is basically how we won over our pair of adopted colony cats. Every day they pester my wife until she goes downstairs and gives them Churu at her desk. Now she does it before she changes out of her PJs.

My new employer is the best place I've ever worked, and there's not many meetings, but a lot of them are on FRIDAYS! WHY?

After a couple of years it didn't even phase me anymore. "Yep, smells like hot vomit." But I am a big believer in the technology as an alternative to extremely dangerous fistfights.

In my bacon-American days in the bar district I once had a sergeant non-ironically just issue me a display carton of OC cans. I sprayed lots and lots of drunks and then tried to make them more comfortable before their ride to jail. Standard treatment was three bottles of water. Water works.

Dad of two feral orange children/idiots, three years later, here: Thank you for taking care of these sweet girls. You're doing God's work.

From unfortunate experience: Those are supposed to be fired from much further away, but also in greater numbers. The assholes firing them didn't pay attention to the training or thought they were otherwise magical. Yes, the cloud from one or a few will disperse too quickly to disable anyone.

Did you just use, like, a Hudson valve? (He says, after needing and finding out what a Hudson valve was three days ago)
