For context, the map is of Syria. Lebanon (with Hezbollah) is in the bottom left corner. Iraq is to the right, Turkey at the top. Green is Turkish-backed rebels. Yellow is Kurdish rebels. Last time, Assad was confined to bottom left corner around Damascus before Russia & Iran (Hezbollah) intervened.
