Frosty night, last night!

I was trying to photograph the Cladonia lichen as I thought it strange to have many cups on one stalk but unintentionally focussed on moss and fern - I quite like the way the moss are pointing up and ferns down.

We went to Lake Padden last weekend. It's a nice escape, but there's nowhere we can go to fully escape everything going on right now. I'm going to hike more this year to try taking breaks from it all.

my feed is full of beautiful mushrooms and I’m pretty happy about it. A little friend from the woods in Oregon from some other time.

Lichen (Cladonia sp.) and moss (Hypnum sp.). Lava Tree Park, Puna.

A surreal landscape near Hveradalir, Iceland—where ancient lava fields meet vibrant green moss, creating an otherworldly contrast. The ever-changing light adds to the mystique of this remote and untamed terrain. 🌿⛰️✨ #IcelandicNature #Hveradalir #LavaFields #Otherworldly #TravelPhotography

Moss adding a velvety covering to this little stone trough 😍

It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too. EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them. Here’s our shareable guide ⬇️: (pt. 1/2)

There are moments in these deportation fights when I can just FEEL how pissed off they are that I’m Puerto Rican 😂 they want to threaten me with it so bad 😂

Medicaid is not for sale. NASA is not for sale. The Post Office is not for sale. America is not for sale. We have an obligation to resist kings. We outnumber them. And they can be overwhelmed.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Tyranny requires your fear, your silence, and your compliance. Democracy requires your courage.

Hey Dems, I better see every single one of you boycott the State of the Union next month. Take the opportunity to hold a HUGE press conference with both the House and Senate.

Now that we’re all making the move away from Target to Costco let me remind you to include shopping small into your habits. I know it’s more time consuming, but even a few items a month purchased at a small shop makes a big difference to them. So where are we shopping and what are we buying where?

Unbelievable optimism and grace from someone who's been to hell and back. Worth a read as we get ready for January. www.vox.com/world-politi...
