I was definitely going to say that now she can make you cuff links! Are there enough for a tie pin?
I have nearly all of my daughter’s baby teeth, I didn’t know what to do with them and it seemed wrong to throw them out!

That said, our daughter was raised by us, so knows Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, so she gets it.
Same with films, she was introduced to Universal Monsters, Hammer Films, Lewis and Martin. Most kids her age, 18, would have no idea.

So last night my husband was playing me a Paul Anka album of rock covers, and we discussed that, unless you were raised by a certain generation, his parents and my grandparents who I spent a lot of time with, you wouldn’t get or appreciate the music

During Covid my daughter read Lord of the Flies, her stated favourite novel ever, and The Great Gatsby.
For her 18th birthday last year she asked for Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
That said, I have over 1500 books, her Dad is a film buff with a PhD, and she hasn’t read anything since Covid.
