Thank you so much for your time and feedback, it's super helpful. I'm finishing your videos and will rework the trailer. Really appreciate you taking the time.
Also, I'm joining your panel @ IndieGameBusiness in a few mins β looking forward to it.

no, i did not just use acceptance into festival on steam to find excuse to delay yesterday's obligations.

i get it, but it was fun waiting to meet your friends again so you could make a dissertation on how to do it, and hear that a cousin of a friend of a neighbour did it once on the first try.
then all of you get together and scream at each other about how to play it, while no one really knows.

(me, zero experience:)
Use specific examples, show a clip of the biggest you solved, write a dev post about what went into it, tell them you heard them... I would be excited if the game I like stopped crashing

Creating something is quite rewarding, but letting something be done, that's another story. There is always something you feel it needs to be tweaked :)

and when you finally decide to chill, you start questioning if itβs actually worth it or if that time would be better spent on continuing work

our first 'template' got too boring too fast. i don't mean it can't be done, just that it must be done thoughtfully. i gotta tackle that issue again π

spot on, mate. modular trailer concept with modular game vid cuts β so any part can be swapped for new footage, and the main video can be trimmed to fit any required length without losing its flow

Sorry, but I laughed. Maybe Iβm becoming my game and losing my mind. Steam can get... frustratingly tricky.
