Exactly. When it comes to friendships, there is joy to be gained when joy is given--so even if it does decay, even if it does end, the fact remains that it made you both happy and put some goodness into your own little parts of the world

However, if you're advertising that you don't experience friendship decay, yet never interact with your friends because "I'm too afraid I'll annoy them" or "I'm just too tired to be that social all the time" etc. etc. yeah, you might wanna do a little introspection lol

and even if you've slowed to a point where you barely interact just remember that you're still friends--it's just different now. There's no need to force anything, and it's okay for you and your friends to change. "Friendship decay" is a silly idea.

Socially, I think it's healthy to navigate the world knowing that you're not always gonna end the year with the ones that you started with. You'll grow apart from others, others will grow apart from you. Don't be too afraid of it ending to put yourself into it, though--you get back what you put in.

It's healthy for relationships to end, and everything that's meaningful isn't meant to last forever. As long as your interest and curiosity in each other remains alive, then you should both do your part to maintain it and care for each other while you can--and when one or both of you can't, let go.

the wounds don't heal when the pain persists. The relationships have changed, but men haven't

Like pleeeease, having more of your body in frame means there's more to appreciate, and being able to see proportion actually makes it look bigger

You can fix so much by just remembering "show the balls too" and "have your chest in frame"

It's aaaaalways projection. These types would be so much happier if they didn't hate themselves so much and worked on that instead of trying to bring everyone else down

but y'know, in the grand scheme of things, I still have people who are encouraging me and are really excited to be getting art from me despite the wait. I'm gonna try to hold that close to heart this week.
