Montreal-based cartoonist D. Boyd hails from Saint John, New Brunswick—the setting for her first graphic memoir, Chicken Rising. Her work's appeared in the New Brunswick Chapbook Series and The Montreal Review of Books, and her latest, "Denniveniquity," is a darkly humorous coming-of-age tale.

Thomas Blais-Leblanc (Thom) was born in Montréal in 1993. He studied cartooning at UQO, where he began VII, the first of his Silent Fables series which won the prestigious Réal-Fillion Award for Best Debut in 2018. His most recent book "Botanica Drama" was nominated for the Quebec Booksellers Prize.
