And now the Susanna Clarke novel takes on more meaning. I love the feeling when you learn a new thing and then previous things gain new richness. This is what I get for skipping art history classes.

It was a moment, to be crying so hard in a packed theater, and then a quiet part happens and you realize that everyone else is wrecked too.

I'll never forget going to the theater to watch this, and seeing signs on the doors about please try AND KEEP YOUR CRYING IN CHECK FOR THE COURTESY OF YOUR FELLOW MOVIE GOERS. They were not super effective signs.

One of the greatest charm points of the robot form is that it can discard poor organic design (over complicated ankles and wrists, fragile spine design). One anatomical point that is often ignored is the clavicle/scapula movements, pretty important for both macro and micro upper body movements.

Right? I used to be able to check in to the archives of my local art museum and handle old prints. The variations of ink sheen and depth on old woodblock and silk screened prints combined with yellowed paper and texture is a nice thing. And feeling.

The build plate being a PITA to clean, and the inability to easily swap vats because of the tilt kept me uninterested. The useless camera is just needless feature bloat too. I would love to drop from a 25 micron to 18 micron voxel, but it's hard to pick the winner of the current generation.

I spent a year once turning basic 3d models into pixel art with freestyle rendering over a projected gradient texture and then redrawing the whole thing at scale. I like how your approach is reminiscent of classic ortho technical drawings. Shouldn't let IKEA hoard all the mindspace here.

More directly or indirectly Miyazaki inspired mechanical design in the world is a good thing.

Had a bit of a panic attack when your twitter disappeared. Guess it's time to migrate as well.
