You can get iron on seaming tape, though i don't think it will help for taking in. Great for hemming though.

As fun as smuggling pets would be (i literally met a guy who had kittens in his coat pockets), you did a great job tailoring this!

At the time i was living with roommates who were very allergic to cats so i wanted every moment i could get. Little did i know that the situation would change in just three months, and two kittens had picked me out as the biggest sucker. And they were right.

A few days later they are now bravely exploring the entire apartment! I am a new and exciting climbing aparatus for them (thank goodness for a denim jacket!), except for Kushana, who has always been wary of me. This age is FUN as they are so excited about everything!

At four weeks old, the kittens are more energetic and more curious about their surroundings! I remember this was on Easter bc i came to visit twice that day. They are able to stand and walk better and are starting to run and climb! It is impossible to get a clear photo of any of them.

At three weeks old, the kittens are getting brave and starting to explore outside their nest! Photos are dark bc i could mostly only visit in the evenings and YOU try getting photos of wiggly dark babies in a dark room at night! Mama Peri is v. suspicious of me but lets me handle them.

My sibling named them after some of our favourite Ghibli movie characters: Kushana (Nausicaa; the largest and fluffiest kitten), Chihiro (Spirited Away; one of the "twins"), Sophie (Howl's Moving Castle; the other twin), and Calcifer (Howl's Moving Castle, the tabby and smallest)

There were four black beans and one brown tabby. The only bean with any colour on her was the one who left us far too soon (but SO SO SO loved). I referred to them as soot sprites, referring to the little black balls of soot from Studio Ghibli movies!

Id say this club has jackets, but they're all awaiting repairs 😂 (inspired by the coat pocket hole that festered for four years before i finally stitched it up!)

First by genre or topic, then by author, which for series is then organized BY SERIES ORDER. I cannot abide by book 3 of series 2 coming before book 1 of series 1!

It does in my book! Its much easier to be excited about the next project when my space isn't full of chaos from the last one (or three).

Haha totally understandable! After i posted i wondered if i was interpreting a liiiittle too literally and am a lil relieved that i was! I wish you all the creative fuel to power through! (And maybe send some my way so i can finish my own suit project.)

It's not just the materials and labour, it's the custom fit which requires years of experience to perfect, specialized fabrics (like interfacing and canvas and belting), and then business overheads and paying their staff and a profit to make it worth keeping the lights on.

Yes. The machine is an investment against your future me-made wardrobe where every piece is exactly what you want and fits perfectly.
