Am a bit bereft having finished the John and Paul book. I think I MISS them. What a pair they were, what a story. Kept listening to Beatles tracks and so often feeling, Oh I'm enjoying this, dear god what's this bit why have they ruined it. All told, my fave is probably still Tomorrow Never Knows.

Parisians! I bring this to your attention with a strong recommend!

So I am loving @ianleslie.bsky.social 's John & Paul book as much as I knew I would. Racing through it on this quiet weekend, listening to songs I know off by heart as I come to them, still never totally convinced I'll ever be a real Beatles *fan* but more and more open to them the older I get ❤️

Very much wish I'd written the line "Damn if I'm not climbing up a tree" - anyway, LOVE this ❤️ www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaPX...

No music at all in the cafe this morning. Not sure if it’s Easter solemnity or if the radio broken.

Oh and PS, on social media as in real life, there is no need to think the worst of people when things don't go your way, and there is no need to resort immediately to insults. Politeness and acting like a grown-up goes a long way. (5)

We are really sorry if some of you are disappointed but we also know hundreds of fans who have made the nights so far very special too. We still hope to do more. Thanks to all of you for your support, ticketholder or not. Over and out xx (4)

We haven’t played for 25 years and we have chosen to play small gigs. We know this is unconventional when we could fill much larger venues and accommodate more of you; but there are many reasons for this and it is worth remembering that until very recently we had no plans to play at all. (3)

We chose DICE as the platform because it negates touts. Tickets are affordable & non-transferable. ID required on entry. There was no priority access or pre-sale. It was as democratic as we could make it. It was literally fastest finger first, the rest went straight on the wait list. (2)

Quick note to say I do understand some people frustrated by how quickly the MOTH gigs sold out. It is simply down to thousands of people trying simultaneously for a few hundred tickets each time. We advertised more widely on this occasion to be inclusive, hence extremely high demand. (1)
