3 has an incredible story and amazing characters and i understand why people say it's the best one and do not under any circumstances play the original or FES. either go with kotone's route on PSP or play P3R.

like so many of persona's failings with characters and story as a series boils down to "if you weren't so focused on hating gay people and being weird about teenagers you would have a much more coherent product" and this has proven true for, like, every single one of them starting with 3
