Ok I appreciate what cis people are trying to do with posts and memes about how anti-trans laws also negatively affect cis people who looks "too" feminine or masculine or androgynous, but actually you should oppose them because they target trans people

I like p o r n where the men are animated and emotional; I hate the super vanilla straight couple stuff where the guy has zero expression and is like "I just came, I was completely silent and it was as boring as grocery shopping but I base my entire life on seeking out this moment"

I must admit this My brother's wife had several men in her party and we did that walk in pairs away from the ceremony thing My person in line from her side was this very gay man who I was very attracted to Everyone in front of us had linked arms to walk out 1/

I will gift a suit selfie. Probably only time you'll see me. Brother's wedding today.

Rehearsal dinner wasn't terrible. Food was weird. Got 1 misgender and 1 deadname out of it (thanks dad) but my brother and his fiancé's friends and family have honestly been so chill, even the ones who knew me before. A little hope from the kids (they're all younger than me). Wedding today.

Still no paycheck. Fault of the mail service, and I can't imagine that will improve in the future. Luckily I have a legitimately good person as my boss and she digitally sent me enough to cover rent. Rehearsal dinner for my brother's wedding in a few hours.

Please look at my dog from the class yesterday. The hat somehow makes it look like he got too drunk and passed out. This is Franck the archaeology dog, he does go out to work with me. He likes to dig but he's mainly security and crew morale support.

My paycheck is late and I'll have to fundraise myself for rent if it doesn't come tomorrow, but at least I can share this.

The neuro is so spicy Sinc work stopped a month ago I haven't physically interacted with people, so yesterday's 3 hour class lecture + 10 straight hours with C (who is my favorite human but still) literally knocked me out. I am still in bed. This is why I'm single

Just now got back to my apartment 😅 Not only did we take the backroads to and from the city, but we stopped by C's (my good friend/coworker/technically employee as I'm his supervisor but our company is chill/driver when it's dark/emotional support) friend for a visit. The dog is tired.

Ready for class

This big guy (...and the human) are guest lecturing with me at a university today.

THIS. I'm a trans dude in Oklahoma. I can afford living here and my job is intimately tied to the area. Don't tell me to move, HELP me live here.

And it begins--got our first "halt work" order. 🤬🤬🤬

In the introduction to "Current Approaches to the Analysis and Interpretation of Small Lithic Sites in the Northeast", I encountered the term "genderlithics". That is definitely going to be a future user name somewhere.

If they end IDR, we're even more massively screwed than we already were www.forbes.com/sites/adammi...

Woooooo! Are they gonna finally give this horse some respect?!?! Coal Battle! #horseracing

Bird morning

I made $40 on the races yesterday. I bought some almost-bad fresh fish and just cooked it all this morning so it'll last. Hoping to make some more cash today because an unexpected bill just notified me. Should get paycheck this week...but in the meantime, let's go Oaklawn!

Oaklawn moved its Rebel card to today due to weather. I'm for Coal Battle of course, but earlier on the card Just Steel returns! I love this horse, he's a fighter with huge heart, and I'm glad they brought him back from his injury. Hoping for good treatment from the gods today. #horseracing

Saving this for all the people screaming about how we should help the homeless over migrants, genocides, etc.

Shot 1 was decimating the NPS, shot 2 was attacking the NSF; this is shot 3 against the essential work of archaologists. Underwater archaeology is a thing. If this goes through, there will be no way to stop them destroying shipwrecks and other sites during drilling. www.politico.com/live-updates...

Halfway into CPAC day 2 coverage and I'm ready to just wear all my trans swag outside until someone deletes me. The snide little anti-trans lines by every single speaker are disgusting. There is no reconciliation from this. Conservatives owe apology AND reparations for torturing us.

Half of the CPAC speakers so far have gotten the crowd into a "four more years" chant--as in, after 2028. I expect no one to care about this either and be surprised when it happens.

Found this to show off while looking for stuff for the class next week.

First time so far today a speaker at CPAC said the quiet part out loud: LGBTQIA+ people should not longer exist in public according to Matt Schlapp. And DEI, Pride, etc. were set up as essentially opposed to "Christian values". This is how they'll excuse our genocide.

Trying to prep for a guest lecture next week and I can't find my good hammerstone AGH Or really a good non-exhausted core to demonstrate on. Plenty of flakes though, that's something.

Snowed in, nothing to do but data, might as well put ON CPAC so you don't have to. Last year they said multiple times they would "eradicate transgenderism" and msm didn't bat a got-durn eyelash, and now look.

Franck the archaeology dog thought he wanted to go outside. It's 4+ inches of snow and -15 F. He changed his mind.

My company contracts with geo and enviro companies who contract with the feds. For projects like brush clearing, controlled burns, rewilding, and water body rejuvenation and erosion control, my crew surveys before work begins to make sure no cultural resources are in danger. (Thread) 1/
