Not as much as many people want to believe. Researchers have found many ways to be more efficient, even with nonsustainable fuels, but industry is too lazy to make enough transition.

So agree.people are used to the name now,but when I first heard "Homeland Security," I immediately thought, how could they pick such a Nazi-sounding name? Government in US had never used the word Homeland before. Might as well have used Fatherland.
