Ads from comic books many of us grew up with. Admittedly, I did have sea monkeys at one point.

We're all trying to not let the pressure of this art thing of ours get to us. Chin up everyone, . . . there might be something great just around the corner, . . . the trick is to keep breathing

The showdown in my classroom proved that it was only a matter of time.

"The Kisser" waits in the shallows, using a flower-like lure to attract humans with a magical bioluminescent glow and a sweet, rosy scent. When a person comes close enough to take a sniff, the sneaky beastie leaps out of the water to steal a kiss & quickly swims away with a kind of shrilly giggle.

I have to balance being my own taskmaster and sugar daddy; I’d yell at myself to get to work while also promising my self treats.

The Waterdance you can see this painting along with all the new paintings I made for the art exhibit "Conversations with Cryptids and Sea Monsters," opening Saturday, Feb 8th, at KP Projects Gallery. The opening is from 6-9 pm contact [email protected] for a preview for the show and to RSVP

Anybody else have those anxiety dreams about not getting work done?, . . . pretty scary stuff last night. I woke up thankful that a school paper wasn't due today and Ernest Borgnine wasn't going to fail me and my classmates; Charles Durning, Jack Warden, and Robert Loggia.

I'm drawing a lot of characters pointing at their favorite things these days, . . .like this dragon pointing at his favorite rabbit king

Ernest the Krampus was proud of his newly developed Sixth finger. He would wave it around like child showing off a new toy. For the Krampus Show opening up this weekend at Copro Gallery

Here's a KING KONG(1933) movie still I haven't seen before.

Some Sea Monsters were discovered to be rather self-conscious about how they are perceived by the world at large. This giant “Unisnore”, who lives amongst the Narwhals in the Arctic for most of the year, might venture to warmer waters more often if it weren’t portrayed as a threat to tourists.

I changed the lure to a flower

Anyone interested in “Cryptids and Conversations with Sea Monsters”?

It’s been a minute since I posted here.
