What’s it about? I hear you ask.
It’s a big gay Scottish love story. I’ve fictionalised the lives and loves of two real artists: Robert MacBryde and Robert Colquhoun, who met at @glasgowschoolofart.bsky.social in 1933 then blazed a trail through wartime London before losing (almost) everything.

Yes, I would leave for the latter reason if it weren't that I would lose too much. But if that issue gets worse it might come to that! Hasn't reached Musk levels yet, but I am keeping an eye... And yes, good for bookshop stuff (though i miss Twitter sooooo much on both business and personal level).

I literally DESPISE that anyone arguing AI uses 'less work' and 'people like me never had drawing/writing skills until now'. It literally devalues all the years and years of passion and work that goes into this skill, it's seriously shows how much they take others ' creativity for granted.

Yeah, not mine either, which may be why I keep putting her off...but a few people have told me she's very good.

I need it to keep in touch with friends and family around the world. I have not encountered toxicity there, it’s hugely valuable to me. But if it doesn’t make you happy, you should certainly leave! ❤️

Whereas I know my favourite, always and without question. But deciding which is the greatest is as difficult as it is pointless.

PS I didn't miss the reference to a shy Midlands novelist who wrote a novel called Quite the Mash Up... 😆

2 sandwiches, 5 fingers in each. Unless your loaf is very small slices. Though I might stretch it to two and a half - two made with two slices of bread, one with one slice of bread with two fish fingers.

Just seen this. Hope you feel better soon - physically and mentally! Am in a right old funk at the moment too, it's a struggle. Hope you get to some writing.
