No, don't get me wrong. I'm lucky for 2-3hrs straight but in some of those periods I've felt like days have passed in dream time

I didn't know there was a new album. I'll need to give it a look. I understand bands can change over time, but their "beautiful garbage" era sound is still how I like them best

Yet another fatality of private equity and vulture capital.

Haven't seen lidar used that much, and there's quite a hefty buy-in cost for the hardware. I've mostly been seeing photogrammetry used for 3d printing lately and you can get some really impressive detail.

Even if your reps aren't GOP, still call. It shows that their voterbase is watching them, and provides proof that their voter base wants this to be voted down. It literally takes 30 seconds in the time you read that message and this one you could be done.

Ah yeah most of the country is pretty used to foreigners now, and the fact that she's even aware/concerned about whether she's being sufficiently polite etc puts her way above most other tourists. Might get a few more looks out in the rural areas but in the major cities nobody will bat an eye.

Erf yeah I've been having one go ALL NIGHT from like 10pm to sunrise singing the greatest hits of car alarms for the last several weeks. I think it's a mockingbird?

That would still require a portion of the immovable object to be moved out of the way by the unstoppable force piercing through. Unless it just phases through or something.

Limited run has had some pretty serious allegations leveled against it that I'm surprised haven't gained more traction. youtu.be/MvkZkgmpg2w?...

What's the failure? I might be able to fix it...

It does the ultrasonic chirp too. That one's especially piercing.

Maybe I'll finally be able to take time off for a vacation instead of having to use it all as sick time next year

Ah that's a logarithmic axis. Used when comparing values that can vary greatly. Not seen very often though outside of science/engineering.
comment in response to post
There is no "y" axis, and no ticks/divisions. it's a sorted list. The only thing being measured is price per pound so it's a single axis graph.

Uncontacted isn't exactly the right word as there has been contact, but they have always violently rejected any attempts at contact (they might have the right idea tbh). They are definitely among the least contacted groups though.

Also a lot of Americans believe that people are so lazy that without draconian punishments for not working or fitting into society that nobody would work or do "good" our country's outlook on stuff is pretty f'd up once you scratch the surface
