Massively bored of transphobes' fixation with the idea of a "biological woman", so have decided to be a quantum physical woman instead (displaying a lot of weird and confusing behaviours that are complicated to explain)

Solidarity with trans women after today’s Supreme Court ruling. The rollback of LGBT rights — especially trans rights — is global, bankrolled by billionaires and the far-right. Trans rights are human rights. We must defend the Equality Act and its protections for trans people.

just got upset leaving a voice note for a friend, describing the way the Supreme Court decision (and, by extension the US, Russia, so much of the world...) feels like it's turned into this big school playground with a pile on of bullies, grinning and punching down. Remember though. They *never* win

I mean *what* are they actually thinking? www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... This is an utter outrage. Not under my watch... 😡

We’re aware of the uncertainty caused by the Supreme Court ruling on the Equality Act 2010. BASHH stands in solidarity with our trans community and our services remain open and inclusive for all. Read our full statement below ⬇️

I very much fear this song is about to be highly relevant

The Supreme Court ruling on the definition of ‘woman’ underscores the challenges faced by trans people in the UK. Today, we remind you that our services are a safe space for all people with HIV, including trans and non-binary people. We are here and we stand with you. #transrightsarehumanrights

We know today may feel especially heavy for our trans and non-binary siblings. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or affected by the UK Supreme Court’s decision, please know you’re not alone. We’re here for you every day from 10am to 10pm. #TransRights #Trans #NonBinary #SupremeCourt #Gender

This op-ed, from Kate Osborne MP, gets to the heart of the problems yesterday's Supreme Court judgement has caused - effectively rendering the GRA 2004 meaningless and actually giving less clarity to everyone. The other LL MP op-ed today doesn't engage with this. labourlist.org/2025/04/supr...

Inspirational perspectives from some leading trans voices! Yesterday’s UK Supreme Court ruling was shocking. It is still unclear what the real-life implications will be for public bodies, businesses and trans people. I will never stop fighting for trans rights. www.thepinknews.com/2025/04/17/t...

We stand firmly by our trans siblings, friends and colleagues, in the #HIV community and beyond. Following this ruling, we'll continue to fight to protect trans rights, health and wellbeing. #transrightsarehumanrights www.attitude.co.uk/b...

Yesterday it felt like the Supreme Court slammed a massive door, one shockingly and almost immediately embraced by almost every political party. With ever limited access to gender affirming care, the mountain young people needing it have to climb just got even higher, the world yet more toxic (1/2)

every copy of the #Metro I see today is going straight in the recycling bin. The fewer people that can be exposed to its toxic front page as possible, the better 😠

This absolutely. I celebrate my diversity, and the diversity of others, every day. I do not restrict that to my genes, my gametes, my gonads, or my hormones. This regressive decision takes us backwards, not forwards, on the great human journey of exploration, understanding, love, and inclusion

This new Supreme Court ruling does not protect women. It protects a 'barbie doll' image of what women should be. Let me explain: I was born female. I have female genitals. It says female on my Birth Certificate. I am one of the 'women' this ruling is meant to protect. 🧵

Re-upping these book recommendations. If you haven't read them, you should. They have helped me answer a lot of the "how did we get here" questions in the current times we are experiencing. These are both banned books, which means you should absolutely read them.

My husband has taught human reproduction and development to the Cambridge medics for over three decades. When people start banging on about "only two biological sexes" he starts with "which sex: genetic, hormonal, or gonadal"? Biological sex is not binary. www.scientificamerican.com/article/sex-...

I have at least one interaction daily which reminds me of how oblivious most average Americans are to the aggressive destruction of public health & the unravelling of protections for their health happening in real time. That really scares me because it will be too late when realization sets in.

Very proud to be both a BHIVA member, and a community representative on @bhiva.bsky.social’s External Relations Committee, today. Trans people have always existed, and always will. We remain stronger together. #TransRightsAreHumanRights #LGBwithTheT 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️

Short BHIVA statement following UK Supreme Court ruling on the legal definition of a woman. Upholding the rights of women does not need to erode the rights of our trans peers. We all face many intersecting issues, often stemming from the same misogynistic, homophobic, and anti-trans groups. 1/2

Team Saving Lives was disappointed to hear UK Supreme Court’s ruling today on the legal definition of a woman. We believe, and always have, that people flourish when they’re allowed to be their true authentic selves - inside and out… 1/3

Trade fiercely disagree with the decision of the UK Supreme Court. It betrays a wilful and profound ignorance of trans life, in keeping with their refusal to hear trans voices. This ruling will sow division and endanger countless vulnerable people. We condemn it in the strongest possible terms.

Today feels like we took another step backward for inclusivity and equality. #Trans people in the UK and worldwide deserve recognition and respect, not exclusion. We must do better. #TransRightsAreHumanRights

Sending love and support to all trans, non-binary and gender queer people today (and every day). 💜 💜 💜

The biological reality is that both sex/gender are not binary & they both exist on a spectrum. The term biological female is not a scientific term it is a propaganda term.

📚 A city that once had segregated schools is now banning books. Different era, same fear of truth. History shouldn’t be rewritten to comfort the powerful. vist.ly/3mztzgx

Such an honour to give the after dinner speech (my first!) at the @bashhuk.bsky.social President’s Dinner last week. Thank you Matt Phillips and @kat-smithson.bsky.social for the invite. I spoke about amplifying unheard voices in medicine and the ongoing neglect of sexual health in this country.
