Just a note: this illustrates one of the annoying trends of certain sites that want clicks - "...for $current_year", when it is no such thing. Anyway, the only method that works now requires an actual Kindle device. The method using Kindle for PC *does not work* for books pubbed after Jan 2023.

Today I needed a piece of wood 10 cm wide for a spacer. Headed to the scrap wood bin to find something to cut to size - this piece was sitting *right* on on top, no cutting required. Best thing: I was *literallly* listening to a podcast on randomness and probability - universe 'avin a laff innit

Glad to see it, and I hope to see many more NYC queers continuing to protest this disgusting travesty of history. The protest was driven by tr***ies, drag queens, dykes and fags, in the language of the time, many brown or black. Fuck any more trans erasure and bigoted whitewashing.

Not only is this ep as informative and sprinkled with apposite jokes as ever, it also improves geography skills! Or, at least, today ~I learned that South Dakota is *north* of Chicago! (Like, I thought it was by Oklahoma or Kansas or something...)

MB is so relatable. Which it would >loathe<

Kind of alternating between dank tract and damp area at present. Ah for the days when I maybe had a few moist patches and mainly enjoyed dewy stretch, lush puddle and a little swamplex.

Lol, I worked at a reinsurance company in 1999 - one of my main jobs was the monthly re-IPL of the VW-sized Wang minicomputer. The week after, THE Cobol programmer would commute into the city for 2 days from his Surrey des-res to produce the monthly financials - he got ₤60K p.a. (me, ₤13K).

Dunno why the hype on ~Google Maps~ saying they'll change the name they display on the Gulf of Mexico due to that fuckwit's mouth farts. If the US Geographical Service accordingly designates it as such, *any" mapping service located in the US will have to use the designated name.
