I know the way the world actually works, but shouldn't. We can at least try to get it partly right. Political junkie, animal lover, artist, sarcastic, Gen X-er who really doesn't care what your opinion of me happens to be. I'm not here to play in DMs.

There is only one species on this planet that is unnecessary... Humans. While we have made some interesting changes, our meddling in biodiversity usually means dire consequences for that ecosystem. The planet needs more wolves, bears, lions, Tigers, and elephants, and less people.

I always need flowers. And wild alpine flowers are a great reminder of my time working at Mt Rainier NP and Grand Teton NP. Life was generally better, during those times... sigh. đĒģđģđ

It is, but getting the police to come out is near impossible. We live in what I term "Little Mexico", and they all keep their dogs outside. So to complain about one dog is pointless.

There is no intention to buy/pay. I don't recall him saying he would buy it. He said the US was going to occupy it.

Revisit the history of the civil Rights struggle in America. My family's from Birmingham Alabama, the city known as bombingham. My grandparents fought. They suffered dog attacks, KKK terrorist Dynamite attacks, arrest, and water cannons. There is no peaceful resistance. Get ready to bleed 4 freedom

It's stupid when you consider that the EU has tougher standards than the US does. Some things they simply CAN'T buy, the rest they don't want to buy.

Why are we talking about DEI involving a plane crash? I hope people understand that the Army usually uses its OWN TOWERS AND Air traffic control, not the airport. DC may be different, but I highly doubt it. That helo was in the wrong place. Should have been nowhere near airport

Having the time to sit and read, not doing anything else, is a luxury that a lot of people don't have. As a truck driver, I've consumed hundreds of audiobooks that I never would have had the time to sit and read. Reading is reading, period.

I'm waiting for the Raccoons and Oppossums and Otters to realize that they DO have opposable thumbs. They will then get with the cats and dogs, who have the actual plans. Then humanity can kiss itself goodbye. Or say "Yes" to the new regime

Because the largest employers are also campaign donors. They pay for them to only go after the employees, not the employers using undocumented labor. It is the unwritten rule.

Oh Betty... You should know by now that there is no impetus to actually help or solve problems. If we solve a problem, I can no longer guilt you into "needing Jesus/God" in order to overcome your poverty, addiction, homelessness, hunger, etc. Only GOD can provide that help... đđ

But by all accounts BEFORE her lobotomy, she wasn't mentally disabled. She did art, recited poetry, went to book readings, etc. Papa Joe had political aspirations, and didn't want his liberal, free thinking daughter becoming a liability. So he had her lobotomized.

Listened to a podcast that detailed Rosemarie Kennedys life, lobotomy and all. That was and is a f**ked up family. Rotten from the top down. The only good one was possibly Bobby Sr, but he was killed before he had a chance to show his true nature.

It's the same tactics he used last time. Bombard everyone with some real threats mixed in with a lot of outrageous, stupid sh**. The media is guaranteed to try to cover all of it, which leaves us feeling overwhelmed, in the hope that we will give up and stop fighting. Chaos sows despair.

The point of the "birthright citizenship" thing is to be able to claim all black and brown as not legitimate citizens. Then they can take everything from you and slowly kill you off in a camp or place you on a plantation. Somebody needs to pick those vegetables...

People like her forget, Elmo isn't an elected official, hes a private "citizen". Unfortunately we can't fire him. She, however, CAN be fired. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Exactly how would you privatize the policy of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? That is what DEI stands for. It isn't a company, it is a company policy.

Damn, not Target, too. I already boycott the others. Deleted all Meta yesterday. Gonna miss the cheeseburgers and fries at McDs, but who really needs that ish anyway?

I believe that is what the "birthright citizenship" crap is ultimately aiming for. It was initially put into place so that children of slaves couldn't be denied citizenship. First will be immigrants, then Native Americans, then Blacks. I hope I'm wrong.

đđđđ The McCain types of the GOP have all run for the hills or are dead. There isn't anyone left who has a backbone and a code of ethics in Commander Marmalades party.

Ever notice how he NEVER answers a question? Just throws word salad at you with a few key words, but it never really means anything. So his answer was basically "Duh, I dunno!"

Except that they have ALWAYS voted Republican. It's just that now, it's required to be visible, so everyone can see them bow to the ring. They used to just do it in secret. But they always benefit from the tax breaks, the loopholes, the Citizens United rulings. Been happening forever
