You know how you think you need to have something but when you no longer can have it (like during Covid), you adjust and no longer need or care about it? Same with the US. Other countries who have long relied upon us, considered our views, etc., will no longer look to us or consider us now.

There's an asymmetry to this relationship. Bannon has no allegiance to truth, and did not give alternative voices time on his platform when he ran it.
