Y’all, I Did A Thing this morning:

I kinda wish I had weighed this empty and tracked that. I could still do that with a different blank one and weigh monthly from here on out. 🤔 It would be close enough.

I’m having the same issue; how did you finally resolve it?

I feel like this a lot of days too.

I was going to suggest TinyLetter, but it looks like that one has been shut down.

Sorry to rant and rant and rant but…I am so sick of this and am sickened where I see it headed. Everything comes back to capitalism and profits in the end. Everything.

Fatty liver disease? Genetic. Diabetes regardless of type? Genetic. Heart issues? Genetic. If genetic propensity is already there, there’s little we can do to stop the expression of those genes. And a huge trigger for all of them is lack of rest/sleep and stress. Things Americans have in abundance.

When we had more down time, were not assaulted 24/7 by stimuli & stress, we were better able to manage + function—we could care for ourselves and recuperate. The eugenics of this is gross: neurodivergencies, auto immune disorders, and those “chronic ailments” vaguely referenced—all genetic.

WE ARE SICK BECAUSE THE .01% PROFIT FROM IT. They profit from wrecking our resources. They profit from putting unnecessary additives in our food. I just want to scream. There is little wrong with ND folx that isn’t external: disability is defined by capitalism in our case.

We use more carcinogenic pesticides, have higher levels in our water + soil than our counterparts who banned them. We are full of microplastics. Placentas are full of it. We have more stress as we’re ground under extreme late-stage capitalism. All of these things are terrible for health.

I also have multiples of these, and everyone in my home has at least one. Monster House over here. I hate that there are valid points buried in this cruelty. Yes. Something IS different about our diet than all our other counterparts worldwide: it’s the sugar and salt lobbies. This isn’t a secret.

While Sanzen sorts the paper issues out, I bought enough undated planners to use the next 5 years. Planner Prepping, I guess? I’m prepared to ride out this decade with no worries. I bought undated Common Planners from SI as well and plan to alternate each year.

Because Hobonichi’s 2025 lot of STRP is so sketchy in the Cousins and 5 year journals, I bought an undated Sterling Ink Daily Planner, which has last year’s STRP in it. It will have minor issues here and there, but I’ve used it before and can handle those. They’re annoying at times, but manageable.

My script has changed just enough that it’s getting to be time to replace them: it makes me so sad. I will miss my weird glasses that give me bug eyes. With a mask and hood, they scream Plague Doctor. (Oh look: same hoodie I’m wearing today, even.)

I will be devastated and disappointed to my bones if he’s ever revealed to be a creep.

My thought is he actually talks with—and listens to—women, because he likes them & realizes they’re people. I hate having to qualify this, but…he seems to have really well developed empathy + emotional intelligence for a (presumed) cishet man. He seems genuinely interested and curious about people.

Thank you! They’re an over-decade old pair I got from Warby Parker. They’re partially held together with a jump ring after they lost a screw. 🫡

Can confirm, Guillotine is also a quick, solid read. Revenge against the .1%? Don’t mind if I do!

100%. The true horror is how everyone treated those girls and women in general. Made me so glad I had mine decades after these practices ended.

Yay!! And I appreciate that you share your BuJo. I love seeing practical ones, and seeing how you keep track of, what other people consider, basic daily things helped me realize I could do the same.

Past years haven’t been quite so bright. I have my skein from 2022 or 2023 still that I need to use. The coordinating solid is a saturated, muted purple. But I have so many socks already and such a short season to wear them. Your feet are going to be so happy!

My sister had this same experience w/ Ron Johnson. Responded via letter to her calls voicing what she wants with, “you didn’t vote for me so I don’t have to.” Some of y’all have never had your rep reach out to tell you to pound sand, and it shows. Most of the current GOP are shameless.
