i think it's fine if the blinding aspect is integral to the story or genre (i.e. if you're lost in the mountains; it'd feel very different without snow, and imo may alter the original vision too much)
i just don't see the point when the lack of snow would have the same effect AS snow for the story

certain genres of games will have more allowance for accessibility options, but I do think that there are some types of games where it deviates from the point of the game if made accessible
i don't think a casual farming game NEEDS to have snow to make it feel "wintery" LMFAAAOOO

I don't think everything needs it; some things I let slide if its integral to the story or design, and I'll just acknowledge that game is not meant for me and I'm okay with that (i.e. creating the effect of snow blindness to purposefully disorient a character who is lost in the mountains)

I hope it encourages other folks to increase their prices, or realize that the iterations, the additional communication required for design comms, justifies higher prices.
It's not just the final design you're offering; it's the entire process, and making sure its a positive experience.

I always want folks EXCITED about using the new design, be it commissioning other artists for more pieces or drawing the design themselves, or piloting it as their online sona.
I know it's not something everyone can afford, but I've made peace with that. It's ultimately a luxury nonnecessity.
