Hard to explain it, but disassociation is similar of your perspective being in 3rd person in a video game. You do what you are doing, but "you" are not in your head. All the senses become numb, your body is basically on autopilot, especially if you are walking.

I have begun drawing as some sort of self therapy since I lost a family member. I don't really think of something and draw it, but simply copy what I find, generally a cartoon styled critter. This is one of my better ones.
