Al Green is 77 years old. He was born in 1947 during Jim Crow. Before the birth of the Civil Rights Movement.  Before MLK rose to prominence. When asked “How are you?” he often responds, “Better than I deserve.” This censure is appalling. Not just a racist dog whistle but a siren call.
