"The Warmth of the Sun" and "God Only Knows" are tied. Plus, the verses to "Good Vibrations" (Brought to another level by Carl), I think "Don't Worry Baby" might be their best single/record.

I second this. It's so very good.

Yes, same. Also, The Warmth of the Sun, that was Brian.

Same. But one of my catalogs had not only a Halloween preview but a Christmas as well. Not even 'Christmas in July' fun, I mean deep, down Christmas. C'mon man! 😞

This is the way.

I recall a Pacers fan saying that Jalen was only clutch player of the year because he ‘had to be’ since Knicks always coming from behind. Well… ;) Yes I’m petty.
comment in response to post
It’s not like Chris said, “has any recent player had this type of clutch performance…” which acknowledges historic past greats and the situation (more clutch than some recent peers because he’s had to be). It’s why I’m not crazy about comparisons because there are so many variables.

It’s recency bias, meaning what we see in front of us seems to be the greatest, the best, etc. It’s an overreaction to something we’re impressed by without historic or situational context.
comment in response to post
It’s not hard to argue. This is recency bias.

Was thinking the same. :)

Loved navigating! And you’re right the navigator got to know a new city or town much faster.

I feel like the topic mocking me, so you may not be entirely alone.

You should!

He does look like that!

Nope, nothing at all except that apparently Dolan still owns the Knicks. ;)
comment in response to post
But this feels like him.
comment in response to post
As you should. As we all should. Unless it's someone I really like, of course. ;)
comment in response to post
Right? This has Dolan written all over it. For a brief, shining moment (very brief), I forgot he existed.

I’ve seen postmortem’s on the Celtics and Timberwolves too, with a similar tone. Were those articles “so Celtics” and “so Wolves”??? These pieces are pretty much standard when a playoff round ends.

Welcome to both!

I love them with all my heart. I’m proud of them. Not just the Knicks but this team-this group of guys. I think there’s a lot to learn from the Indiana series, if willing. But they went a series further this year, that should be celebrated.

Ah! I knew the film had to be made from (or start from) a place of great, true love for its subject. Thank you to Matt. I can’t stop thinking about it.

Yep!!!
comment in response to post
Oh yes!!!
comment in response to post
I love having them still around. Maybe I'm different because the Knicks did actually win championships in my lifetime (even if I was a little kid when they did) or because my basketball heart was so broken in 1994 that I now just take it as it comes and appreciate the team making the playoffs.

Yes, watching the doc-the photos of him when he was in college, etc, I noticed a resemblance I hadn’t before, around the eyes and jawline.
