Very interesting. I seem unable to write in first person and now I understand why, it's limiting. Thank you.

Never forget that American women have lost their body autonomy. But yeah, we've lost freedom of press, the networks are paying Trump millions without trials because they do not want their sources to be exposed. Trump has them over the barrel on that and no one is blinking. Some f---ed up s--t

I just got Canva to help me with promotional materials for my novel, but I'm finding it difficult to use. Your board is lovely

I use FB to stay in touch with my little town community group and my old friends from my hippie/partying days (1970). I belong to a geologic group, 2 Ingram Sparks groups, and a proof reading and editing group. I'm not targeted by much. My son quit because it was too time consuming

Never trust the helpers, always doublecheck, even the spelling.

Oh, please. It's not a tool of any real use; it is full of errors. it's a gimmick that might make lazy people feel smart, though.

My own writing is three quarters descriptive, one quarter dialogue. I prefer that every word used is actually necessary for the sentence to convey the meaning intended. The little red dog ran home / the auburn hued canine loped towards its domicile. Both are correct, it depends on the genre.

I picked Tulip for the name of my novel because it is about a bundle of valuable, cursed, and supernatural tulip bulbs that go missing and are presumed stolen. Set in 1886 Central Asia and Holland Tulip tells the tale of a fun-loving family, a woman scorned, and a shaman's vengeance.

Yes, I fully expect the dems in Congress to counter Trump. Protests could help, especially considering that Trump got less than 50% of the vote, though not all registered voters voted. But given a chance, Trump will arrest protesters.

Yes, Dems should fight back but the Senate and House are under Republican control. So how should that fight look like? I can't call on the Repubs to complain, they direct me to my own reps (Dems) who are powerless.

It's really the republicans who must stop it, without their help, nothing will change

Yes, I saw it, too. The President of Columbia decried the shackles his countrymen were placed in, and he sent his own plane so his people would have dignity. And this happened before Trump threatened him. BTW, Biden sent 17, 000 Columbians back to Columbia last year with zero issues or fanfare.

Yes, the shackles were the problem, lack of dignity. BTW, last year Biden sent 17,000 Columbians back to Columbia. Every year of his presidency Columbians were returned. No problems with dignity.
