#Tavqotd It's there, I think the most that affects Ares is the presence of Bhaalists in Baldur's Gate. He was born right at the tail end of bg2ish so his mom was in Baldur's Gate during that time and it affected how he was raised. I don't really omit anything 🤔

For Val'dran, the canon that is 'omitted' is that Tav/PC is the leader of the group. He's simply Not - he hates leading, so everyone sorts of lead where they're good. And I am ignoring the lolthsworn-seldarine thing because I consider it nonsense from Larian's side 🙃 (no hate to those who use it!)

#tavqotd I'm ignoring only timelines, because I HATE timelines in bg3. They are as broken as they can be. Likewise, I ignore the nonsense about brains ‘laying’ eggs. I refuse to accept it. In everything else, I strictly adhere to BG3&general Illithid canon.

[ #TavQOTD ] None of the MAJOR things for Thomas I leave out or change, but multiple dialogues would be quite different. Standout? I think most Galemancers who go for Professor Gale ending change this; the conversation on the dock. No option there fits at ALL. Certainly no 'chosen' stuff.
