You're free to stay at mine for a few days while we find a leftist exorcist...

Digivolution is so cool concept. Anything can evolve into anything of the next level-up, but with core-properties pre-disposing them to various forms. Nothing except mechanically coherent representation of probable champions stops Agumon becoming a Garurumon instead of a Greymon or a Tyrannomon...

Ah so not White Rock in Killiney then? 😉

Are you on holidays? Or is that beach somewhere in Ireland?

I am not saying that I believe that just that I feel like I remember hearing some wild claim like that.

Its such a cool aesthetic! I hope we get just a little bit of Cyberspace in Time Stranger just for the sake of having Cyberspace, The Digital World, and Earth all together.

So it would be like having an entire social circle?

It does set up the possibility of them adding a lot more content to Wind Waker... Maybe making some radical alterations since we have the traditional version safely available. Imagine a version with an extra dungeon... or even a Bowser's Fury/Future Redeemed/Shadow Generations style side.

Or maybe I just woke up after working till sunrise on my Digimon TTRPG and should be more cautious about over-stepping. 😅

Oh? I'll be honest the idea of you having a spark of dom energy is kinda fire. Resonates nicely with your healer critic TTRPG to give the impression of a real nourishing presence. Your lad hit the jackpot!

Either you embrace the cringe or you become the cringe. They chose to become it.

If they chose a boyfriend who didn't encourage that behaviour were they even worth your spiritual thirst?

Is that appealing? Or a critique of Photoshop?

This has me wondering, since it is the only fair fight, how Shadow VS Batman would go. If we give them Prep-Time then we're effectively letting Shadow go get a Chaos Emerald.

Would that make Ireland the most powerful non-Commonwealth English-Speaking country? Because I feel like that would set up some great opportunities for trolling right-wingers in both the UK and US.

The issue with that is that this lacks the seeming tonal whiplash for anyone who knows Shadow. Definitely one of Batman's best deductive feats that he met a vaguely mammalian alien and it still set off his Potential Robin Radar.

I'd freaking LOVE to see a Digivice be a bridge into TTRPGs for folks. Seems like a brilliant way to onboard folks into that space. Plus that strange "is this a video-game or not" liminal space is historically Digimon's role, and one that really suits its themes. They might as well embrace it!

Only if V-Pet game... which to be fair it might be. Digimon is coming hot this year on both a potential Digi-Plat for the TCG and with Time Stranger for consoles... It would be fairly fitting to do the hattrick of Digimon games with a keychain V-Pet game.

Wait what? I totally missed that but I've asked on a couple Video Game and Card Game surveys if they would consider doing a TTRPG. I hope they lean into narrative and pet-sim aspects. The idea of reactive branching evolution and the looming threat of Dark Digivolution would be fantastic.

There are multiple Digital Worlds in that multiverse, and multiple Earths. Sometimes Yggdrasil is lovely, sometimes Yggdrasil is dead, sometimes Yggdrasil is genocidal, and sometimes - like in the next game coming - Yggdrasil isn't even the Demiurge Boltzmann Brain in question.

Must have been X-Antibody. Only Agumon variant with a stomach coloured differently. X-Antibody are the versions of Digimon which survived Yggdrasil* doing a mass delete * Boltzmann Brain Demiurge (the creator of the Digital World, which the artificial astral plane of Cyberspace collided with)

That second one just makes me picture: "Thank you for telling me about this family death, please tell me they died well." "Madam, for all I knew that was a discount coupon."
