Two dogs might...get into all sorts of mischief. I chronicle life with Emma and Lucy, two Australian Shepherds. Aussies routinely make it to the top five on lists of dogs that you should not get. The lists are not wrong. Read on to see why.

I just learned that Aussies are called "regret dogs." Emma is two and just reaching the edge of calm. Time to make the same mistake again....

Our dog will meticulously nose the carrot chunks out of her food bowl and onto the floor. Or sometimes she eats all the kibble bits and leaves the carrot chunks in the bottom of the bowl, which is even more impressive. How???!!

I love this and really want to make one for our house. We live a block away from a dog park and get a lot of canine traffic.

They are so calm and analytical about the whole thing! My dog would do a running cannon ball into the pool and worry about the consequences later.
