I'm at an Indian wedding with the most unhinged and vague instructions possible so I'm trying to make sure my coworker doesn't show up in anything scandalous

ATL has formal adidas track suits vs. people wearing black tie to olive garden and there's no sense to any of it

Dialysis and IR technically have call at our hospital but it's 1hr out and they come in maybe once every 6 months

Yeah if we had call I wouldn't be doing it. Another hospital is trying to poach me for an EP gig and supposedly their call is minimal.

Tell the Cath lab people to be nice to you and that you want radial access primary, none of that femoral shit if they've got some old doctors lurking around.

I cannot be sure because I was further traumatized by his driving through Seattle traffic shortly after that and my memory is patchy.

My parents are in this age bracket and their texts range from "sending a telegram in 1920" to "1200 word diatribe on something my dad read in SME two weeks ago" to "police interrogation regarding how I get biscuits to not be tough"

I think she's always struggled in school and likely has ADHD that was never identified, so essays are challenging and she's apparently always had issues with them and complex mathmatics. Which is maybe a sign that she needs to try different study methods and not turn to a word salad generator.

I have a theory that this is an elaborate way to ensure sufficient food for mountain lions and bears during the droughts.

I had to swap to days in the ICU because I didn't sleep for 6 months on nights and displayed stroke symptoms, but MAN I hated the extra work and chaos. Now I work in a Cath lab with no call, no weekends, and no holidays.

It's for grooming.
So they can't bite you when you're shaving the poop-encrusted fuzz off their asses or dipping them to get rid of 18000 fleas trying to exsanguinate them.

I'm glad this didn't exist when I was a kid because it would have sent my dad into tirrade about the inaccuracies and lack of MSHA compliance that would have ended with diagrams in AutoCAD

there's a reason almost every roman emperor who headed east in a fever of conquest got to the border of Persia and went "alright we're good lads time to go home"

I wandered past this argument and decided it didn't concern me, then realized what it was about and decided to thaw some hot dogs. For science.
