The magic of a little cropping 😉🪄

I think that’s probably going to be the plan, although I already lost two hours to the safe software issue I had last night 😭

They’re probably is, but I’d have to probably do a lot of under the hood work and I’d be worrying about bricking the whole thing. I’ll check the mount itself: maybe it also needs an update

Generally you just get to let it run once you set it all up, but this one was having issues after the firmware update.

Manually turning the flip off seemed to work, but then I walked away for an hour only to find it had thrown another error. Sent a bug report so here’s hoping it’s addressed.

Side note: ZWO’s newest software update now has a bug where it tries to automeridian flip on the software after every exposure regardless of target or position, but the point doesn’t move and it just continuously retries.

Thank you for all the support… I’m going to keep working on dialing it in. This is so much harder than collimating my dobsonian 😅

Wtf you’re right, I searched it and the new vid isn’t even on the first page of results

They’re a little faster in optics for the focal length you get, and they’re very light. However, you have to collimate them and they’re sensitive to bad collimation. They aren’t that expensive for the focal length you get though!

Thank you! It’s a great target! Even with smaller scopes you can get good results.

Resellers are insane 😭 how they ever find a buyer I’ll never know

I’m scared about collimating it but the amount of focal length and speed while imaging it offers at 20 lbs is too good to pass up, and all at an affordable cost

I didn’t know you do so much! That’s so cool. I’ll check it out and message you if I have questions. Thank you so much!

The smaller galaxy is a dwarf galaxy: the two are interacting, pulling material off each other!

It simplifies everything so well! The guiding itself has improved for me too: I used to get 1.7ish~ with my old guide cam and scope. I don't know if I can ever go back now it's so nice.
