He/him, leftist in South Carolina. I like star trek, old and new. TNG, DS9, SNW are my jam but they're all good. Brandonactually on discord

A guy at my work was a decent local baseball player so he went pro in Israel because they were doing the same thing.

It's that way with lots of stuff. I have a friend who wants to become a fighter pilot, and he doesn't have a shot in hell. He's got a mechanical engineering degree, there's no reason he can't go be successful with that without going through all the hassle to do some non fighter pilot navy gig.

Wow, that would help my pit who gets split nails, but he's painfully dumb and probably would screw this up.

There's a podcast called "stop podcasting yourself" and host @daveshumka.bsky.social makes that joke. "No frickin way" is a tagline from that same podcast.

These politicians are so full of hate they go out of their way to hassle people who have the same needs and wants as everyone else and it's gross. People are largely the same, there's no reason to pick on minorities.

Beautiful work, especially the little detail lines on the petals.

People don't get that the way to test something like AI is to ask it stuff that you already know and see if it's accurate. It can answer anything you throw at it, the answers just won't all be right. Which makes it useless.

Yeah, they are malicious but not stupid. Yes, racism is stupid, but the act of hiding pig addresses is not because they don't understand but because they do.

Even if you think children are better, the cost of ownership and maintenance is much better for a dog.

One of my friends at work is from India. He and I had a good laugh when I asked him why Cleveland had to change their baseball team name but it's ok for Mumbai cricket to still be the Indians.

He's been on the flophouse more than oncw. It's a generally foul mouthed pod about movies. Jamelle fits in well with the other dudes. There's a place for crass but considerate masculinity. Dudes can be dudes without punching down.

If your position is anti electoral politics full stop, fuck off from a conversation about a candidate.

So since I live in a Nazi occupied red state with bad candidates, should I contribute to people who will vote for policies I want even if I don't get to vote for them? Said another way, why can't I use money to get around gerrymandering if both are entrenched parts of our political system?
