Maybe because they aren't all that left themselves. It's easy to be left of Trump, but that's an awfully low bar. Lots of ex-Republicans there - not left, just left Trump. But you're right, you have a pretty decent channel.

I liked Coulthart at first but his constant bowing and scraping to Trump and his willingness to take everything he says at face value gets really old. It would get old if he were doing it for Biden, too - I'm not being one-sided here. Trump is a proven liar and yet Coulthart professes not to get it.

As an Oregonian who is familiar with her style, I would imagine so.

Does his pro-Democracy agenda include what Israel is doing in Gaza? Asking for a friend who has been looking at all the money AIPAC gives Ritchie.

Me too. I also don't appreciate Coulthart's sucking up to Trump in his posts- like Trump is EVER going to be honest about *anything*.

Isn't that the guy who called Davos out to their faces and was never invited back? What a moment that was.

Thanks! My stuff is all over the map musically (really) but lately I have managed to turn out a few more outré things amidst the more conventional material.

I gave up on prefabbed feeds here. I just follow people. The feeds idea is attractive, but the implementation doesn't produce a very good result. I appreciate your posts.

Nothing has changed since 1950; the UFO community is still consumed with petty diversionary squabbles.

I like how she keeps upping the goal, too.

Yes, it makes me livid, but that's why I no longer think of myself as a Democrat. That stopped the first time they killed Sanders' campaign. The three top Dems should be called Feckless, Useless, and Clueless instead of Schumer, Jeffries and Pelosi. Officially.

Except that the DNC argued successfully in court that it is a private corporation under no obligation to do what the Dem voters want. And they've sure as hell proved it. So anybody even remotely progressive has no chance. It's a world of Schumers and Jeffries.

I'm proud to say I've never seen it. He seems to be an entitled little sphincter.

"Only days away" not this again.

I'm anticipating that anyway; if a midterm actually takes place they'll get murdered. It seems pretty clear that they will do anything to prevent another election and with Jeffries and Schumer in charge of the Dems, they may pull it off.

If half of these women are Republicans, that's a netzero result. They must be planning something special like "Certain conditions apply".

They never say anything when Pelosi does it, though.

You have some new, 100% secure method of storing the waste? One that will be unaffected by earthquakes and won't leak for millennia, and that won't be situated where poor people live? Tell us more.

You need to clearly state WHICH state you're talking about in these posts. Did that never even occur to you?

The obvious reply is that Jeffries is the most unqualified leader of the House Democrats in history so why should anybody care what he says?
comment in response to

Once they say that, they've opened the door. It's a predictable progression now; keep up the pressure. We've seen this film before.

Schumer needs to be as remaindered as his book will be, but a lot sooner. Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi - these are supposed to be leaders? Kill me now; what a travesty.

Yeah, he's a fighter...until Obama snaps his fingers. Fool me once, etc. I love what Bernie says but I donated to him in two campaigns only to have him simply disappear without even an objection when the party told him to. Bad as Al Gore capitulating to Bush.

Sorry, I meant to say Whitehouse is good too. BluSky has no editing facility; a short time to fix omissions like that would be helpful.
comment in response to

Yes, Whitehouse, too. As an Oregonian I know Merkley, of course, but Murray is just next door: in general, I'm not a fan of hers at all but she seems to be on board this time instead of just temporizing like she often does.

Do NOT include Jeff Merkley there. He is one of the few congresspeople who has been standing up against this coup, and he's done it consistently.
comment in response to

Jeff is my senator, and I'm proud to say that. Fvck Chvck, Kirsten, Fetterman and any of these other fakes who won't stand up for this country but wring their hands as an excuse.

Jeffries is part of the problem. Like most Dems, he needs to GET OUT OF THE WAY. Resign.
