We cant trust anything he says, nor can we trust anything he owns.

@grandparoy2.bsky.social i guess we found a downside of fiberoptics. Other than visual spotting the cables, is there a way to identify them via infrared, thermals, etc?

Its still baffles me that we Europeans have 300 billion euros of russian assets just sitting at Euroclear and we havent used it. Imagine if we took that money and used it for military aid.

Silver lining: Things will be so bad for 2 years it might actually get dems to get their shit together and win in 2026?

So we went into Afghanistan, Iraq and the GWOT for the US but when our troops get attacked by russia the US is going to leave us high and dry. Great show of strength, i'm sure that will deter putin, kim and jinping.

If you like old squigs, I have a couple on ebay currently.

I've never tried it honestly, but it does seem like a great hobby experience. That and adding a tonne of weathering and mud effects.

Have you ever tried adding camouflage netting and foliage to your tanks to give the added sense of an ambusher? Like the Swedish Barracuda Thermal Camouflage system they use on CV90's and Leopard 2's

Green energy and green tanks, sounds like a great combo.

Thanks, there is a lot more to the survey, i encourage everyone to actually read the article. @noelreports.com list your sources, by not doing it you're not informing your audience.

The whole "Hate journalists" thing is a tactic loved by extremists so they can get away with crime, corruption, harassment, incompetence, sexual violence, fearmongering. Its exactly what people like Orban, Wilders, Farage, Musk do.
comment in response to post
Its not right how we put all journalists and politicians in the "we should hate them" bucket. Plenty of fantastic journalists out there, like @kyivindependent.com and @hromadske. Same with politicians, like Pavel, Kalas and Landsbergis. Without their work we wouldnt know whats actually going on

This happened before in Kharkiv right? Why is it happening again?

In short, it took Rutte 14 years of leadership (and leaving office) to get The Netherlands to spend 2% on Defense. At that rate, European NATO will be slightly better prepared in 2038.
comment in response to post
Less than 2 months after MH17 was shot down Rutte still opposed arming Ukrainians, instead, the government 400k to invest in logistics. See also the chart below for a better visual on defense spending.
comment in response to post
He's definitely on the right track nowadays. I'm just skeptical considering his track record. He was PM for 14 years, defense spending never reached 2%. From 2010 to 2015 defense spending went down each year. From 2015 to 2021 it went up from 1.2 to 1.4. Only now in 2024, after he left, is it 2%

Maybe pre-empt an article about the new armored and tank brigades of the various Syrian rebel groups?
comment in response to post
I listened to the episode today, you mentioned the "youth of the nation" was used as an alibi to not mobilize. The question I had was, whats the alternative the Ukrainians are hoping for? Or do they genuinely beleive they dont need to further mobilize? Thanks for the episode btw
comment in response to post
Large parts of what the Ukrainians have to say has been promptly ignored by Scholz though. Leopards took forever, taurus hasnt arrived, restrictions are still in place and sanctions have more loopholes than a strainer.
comment in response to post
Thats a fair point, though i cant imagine they wouldnt want to get their hands on GBAD systems like the recently captured BUK and if/when the regime falls, whatever stockpiles of munitions will be left.

Do you think there's an opportunity for Ukraine to get their hands on ex-russian/soviet systems the SAA abandoned?

When you're North Korea, getting experience, weapons, planes, air defences, oil, food, sanction evasions and missile technology whilst your Southern neighbors just send some humanitarian aid.

Ever since he blamed the US for russias' invasion of Ukraine I've realized he is a comedian and a tankie.
